I am happily married Professional Engineer living in Kars: I have three daughters, taught High School Physics for most of my working life, and am now a beekeeper who he writes articles on the environment while working on the Board of the Canadian Association for the Club of Rome [an environmental think tank] to spread the word about how we live better AND protect our environment. I am a ‘seasoned’ politician, having worked on the Riding Association of the federal Greens here in Carleton and have been a candidate for the provincial Greens four times. My wife and I are committed to living sustainably and to that end have eliminated fossil fuels from our lives: we drive an electric car, heat/cool with geothermal energy and have our roof covered with PV panels. For us to ‘walk the talk’ is a vital step in enabling people to listen to our core belief: taking care of the Earth is the best way to care of ourselves, our families and our community.
